Knox County Jails

There are actually three jails for Knox County, and each has its own visitation schedule for inmates.

Visitation is done by video, and each inmate is allowed to have 2 scheduled visits per week, either remotely or onsite. Unscheduled visits are also available, depending on inmate availability.

Onsite video visitation is available daily.
8:00 am – 1:30 pm
3:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Remote visitation is also available daily.
8:00 am – 1:30 pm
3:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Inmates are allowed 2 scheduled visits per week and are allowed unlimited unscheduled visits, subject to availability. The schedule is dependent upon the inmate’s housing assignment.
